Athletics

• The District 126 Athletic Program is open to all District 126 students, including Zion-Benton East students. ZBE students can take part in all District 126 activities, participating in sports during the fall, winter, and spring seasons.  Several coaches are also ZBE faculty members, which means athletics are an important part of student life.  Buses take athletes to the ZBTHS campus directly after school, if that’s where practice takes place, or they can wait at ZBE if practice is at or near ZBE.  Visit the District 126 Athletic Department website for requirements for participating in athletics, specific sport information, schedules, and an Athletic Department calendar.

Activities 

• If a ZBTHS club meets after school, then ZBE students can participate.  In addition to district-wide clubs like Theatre, Speech & Debate, NJROTC, and Bass Fishing, ZBE also has its own branches of National Honor Society, Rotary Interact, The Brotherhood of Extraordinary Young Men, Sister to Sister, Student Senate, Art Club, Bee Leaders, Green Bees, Fitness Club, Black Student Union, and Healthy YOUth.
